We founded Hydrowind Engineering to bridge the gap between engineering design and the realities of how things actually get built and operated.

Hydrowind Engineering is a multidisciplinary maritime engineering consultancy specialising in naval architecture and marine engineering for the offshore energy sector. We work across offshore wind, oil and gas, and subsea projects — providing high-quality engineering design from initial concept through to installation and certification.

What sets us apart is our operational grounding. Our team is connected to fabrication, field operations, and real-world constraints — so the solutions we design are not just technically rigorous, they are practical to build and deliver. We bring innovative thinking to every project, but always in service of outcomes that work.

We are based in Rotterdam, Netherlands, and work with clients across Europe and internationally.

Managing Director — Senior Structural Engineer

MSc Naval Architect and Marine Engineer with 10+ years of experience in the offshore wind and maritime industry. Strong foundation in structural design for offshore equipment and vessel hull integrity.

Broad experience with offshore operations and mobilisation/fabrication support, including cable installation, vessel modifications, and offshore equipment installation.

Technical Director — Senior Naval Architect

MSc Naval Architect with 10+ years of experience in concept and basic ship design. Strong affinity with advanced calculation methods and CFD hydrodynamics.

Broad experience with a wide range of ship design projects, from yachts to Ro-Ro ferries and offshore installation vessels.
